Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster presentations on work-in-progress are invited for interactive, hands-on sessions aimed at helping the presenters publish their work after receiving feedback from the session.

If you are making a poster presentation, make sure your poster should not be larger than 1.0 meter in width and 1.4m in height. A freestanding bulletin board will be available in the conference session room for you to mount your poster. Use softer colors. Posters should be readable from a distance of approximately 20 feet.

Your poster must clearly highlight the one essential theme that you would like to put across to the audience. In case you want to gather useful feedback from the audience, you may take permission from the chair and involve the audience by asking relevant questions.

Student Track

University students, particularly those pursuing masters and doctoral degree programs are invited to submit their research paper/s to the conference chair within the Student Track. The Technical Committee will review only those papers that are authored solely by students. However, papers co-authored by students and the faculty or practitioners will be considered for presentation within a regular conference track.

The Student Track has the following twin objectives:

  • To provide a supportive setting for constructive feedback on students’ current research and guidance on future research directions, and
  • • To generate creative discussions and facilitate networking for the benefit of students.

Acceptable submissions may fall into one of the following categories:

  • Theoretically innovative and well-grounded papers;
  • Papers based on empirical research;
  • Research insights and directions from student’s stream of research
  • Review of literature
  • Contemporary issues in student’s area of research
  • Pedagogy and content papers
  • Case studies
  • Advances in research methodology
  • Other topics
