Dear Participants,
We are extremely proud that the HBMeU Congress 2012 is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of the HBMeU, with the theme “Innovation-based Competitiveness”.
It is truly an honor and pleasure to welcome all of you to our Congress whose theme is inspired by the HBMeU’s desire to strengthen its role as a catalyst for innovation and change in the Middle East region and beyond.
Since its inception, the HBMeU has believed that the leadership status, one of the four cornerstones of the HBMeU’s vision, couldn’t be taken for granted. Rising up to this belief, the University has created one of the most compelling long-term research agenda and a comprehensive approach for knowledge creation and exchange, closing the loop by communicating knowledge in quality, e-learning and health and environment.
The Congress this year hosts three distinguished parallel conferences, The 6th Quality Conference in the Middle East; The 5th Conference on eLearning Excellence in the Middle East; and The 4th e-Health and Environment Conference in the Middle East; all of these conferences address and debate how innovations can be a key driver to competitiveness.
I am confident that your participation to this remarkable event will be a rewarding experience, and I wish you a very happy stay in Dubai, the city of innovation and competitiveness.
